In addition to the various ensembles which operate in each of the Secondary Colleges, BIMP offers an extension opportunity.  

through our premier combined schools ensembles. The Bendigo Colleges Symphonic Band. This group involves students playing woodwind, brass and percussion instruments from the Bendigo Colleges.

The band performs at various functions throughout the year, including the Schools Band Festival in Melbourne (at which it has gained a gold shield award on more than one occasion), local school and community functions, and tours interstate bi-annually.
